All the essentials for electronic signatures
EpicSign brings together the most important tools for electronic signatures: invitations, reminders, groups, archiving, an audit trail, an optional eIDAS seal and the EpicSign API. All in your browser, without a complex setup.
Invitation sending and signature path
Send signature invitations via email with a single click. The recipient gets a link, identifies themselves, and signs—no registration required.
Reminders and resending
Send reminders to signers who have not yet responded. You can also resend the invitation.
From Basic plan onwardsSignature groups
Organise signature requests into groups—for example, by project, department, or contract type.
From Basic plan onwardsArchiving
Signed documents are automatically archived and are searchable at any time.
eIDAS seal
The completed document is sealed with an electronic seal compliant with the eIDAS regulation, which proves the document's integrity.
UUID-based status check
Each signature request gets a unique ID, which can be used to check its status publicly—without logging in.
Audit trail (audit log)
All events are recorded in a log within the application: who opened, who signed, and when.
A seal for your most important documents
Not all documents need the strongest possible stamp. With EpicSign, you can add a seal only to the documents that really need it—and you don't pay for it unnecessarily on every document.
Seal price: €1.50 / document. Added only to documents where you want a stronger stamp.
Choose the right identification method for every contract
Strong electronic identification
Bank ID and Mobile ID—strong electronic identification approved by the Finnish Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV). In EpicSign, these produce an Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) as defined by eIDAS. Available in Finland, coming to other countries.
Passport verification
NFC or non-NFC based international identification—works with all passports and identity documents.
Simple identification via email and handwritten signature
The signer is verified via their email address and draws their signature. An alternative to strong identification methods.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the signer need an account?
No. The signer receives an invitation link via email. They identify themselves using the chosen method and sign—no registration required.
What identification methods are available?
Strong electronic identification (bank ID / Mobile ID), passport verification with and without NFC, and a handwritten signature with email confirmation.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 10 signatures per year and 1 user, permanently free. No credit card required.
What file formats are supported?
Supported formats include: .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .pdf, .jpg, .png, and many others. Non-PDF files are automatically converted before signing.
When do I need the EpicSign API?
The EpicSign API is worth adopting when you want to embed electronic signatures directly into your own systems—such as your ERP, CRM, customer portal or document management. Typical use cases include triggering signature requests automatically from your own application, returning signed documents back into your own archive, and tracking status changes in real time via webhooks. If you only sign documents in the EpicSign browser interface, the API is not needed.
What does using the EpicSign API cost?
The EpicSign API is priced separately. Request a quote by contacting our sales team. When you only send signature requests in the EpicSign user interface, you do not need the API and the service follows the standard plan pricing.
